Tips for the Best Beetroot Brownie Recipe
-The best flavor and texture come from fresh beetroot. So, avoid using canned beetroot since it could taste overly watery and unnatural.
-Make sure not to over bake brownies if you want them fudgy. Remove from the oven when the center turns slightly soft.
-Serve the brownies with a rich chocolate ganache or a cream cheese icing flavored with beetroot.
-To bring out the marble effect, before baking, swirl in some peanut butter, almond butter, or cream cheese. This brings visual contrast. For extra nutrition and texture, you might also top with a little 6-in-1 seed mixture.
-To get the right consistency, if the batter seems too dry, add a small amount of milk or plant-based milk.
-To make the brownies gluten-free, use almond flour, oat flour, or a gluten-free flour blend in place of ordinary flour.
-Use plant-based milk and raw cacao in place of eggs. If you want to bake an eggless version combine 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water (for 1 egg ) & soak it for 1 hour.
-To give the batter more texture and flavor, feel free to add your preferred nuts, dried fruits and berries, or extra chocolate chips.
